Lodge History in imagery and lectures
Explore our rich history and discover the foundational documents of Lodge of Hope No. 433, including our original bylaws and significant milestones that shaped our community. We have uploaded photographs of all Lodge Past Masters going back to when the Lodge was formed in 1836, including our Founders. We have also included original lectures by Past Masters on our Lodge History, an explanation of the antient floor cloth which is now on display in the Museum at the Grand Lodge of England, London.
Our Lodge building was used extensively by the ANZAC troops in the Great War. As an acknowledgement to these brave Commonwealth troops, a pictorial lecture has been included in this site.
The Officers and members of the Lodge of Hope are now looking forward to our bicentenary and warmly welcome new members.

Our lodge regularly donates to local charities, and we are proud sponsors of Brightlingsea in Bloom and many other local institutions, as a provincial Masonic Lodge, we donate funds that are widely distributed.
